The City of New Brunswick is seeking a Building Sub-Code Official.  Responsibilities include review and approval of proposed structural plans in compliance with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC).  Additional responsibilities include inspections to ensure building sub-code standards are observed.  Candidate must hold a valid Building Sub-Code license with residential and commercial (RCS), industrial and commercial (ICS) and high-rise and hazardous (HHS) certificates issued by the Department of Community Affairs.

The City of New Brunswick is seeking a Construction Official.  Responsibilities include supervising staff activities concerned with carrying out the regulations of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC).  Additional responsibilities include ensuring that requests for variations are properly prepared and referred to the appropriate sub-code official and issuing all appropriate permits and certificates.  Applicants must hold a license as a Construction Official issued by the Department of Community Affairs.
